Where are the other Choose your own adventure games?

@Kadael
I did that and i already kenw to look in the bed/ pull up the covers but i can not find the correct wording

Bro’s, this isn’t a helping for the game Fate, take it somewhere else please?

OK got it. Just thought it would not hurt to ask. You guys have been great at giving me things to do over my school break. Thanks

Now I seem like a party pooper ._. Just sayin, bring it over to PM’s or whatnot xD & This forum post has given me hours of entertainment.

@MrYoungzman Only hours I have got days because my reading site Wattpads been down. So can I pm you about my problem.

Ask someone else xD I don’t play Fate.

To anyone having trouble with an IF parser, a guide can be found in PDF format here: http://emshort.wordpress.com/how-to-play/

I return with more games:

Gregory Weir does some lovely ‘art games,’ some of them with great stories where your actions have significant consequences. Check out The Majesty of Colors (http://armorgames.com/play/3314/the-majesty-of-colors), How to Raise a Dragon (http://armorgames.com/play/4046/how-to-raise-a-dragon), and The Mold Fairy (http://armorgames.com/play/4615/the-mold-fairy).

Thousand Dollar Soul has an intricate storyline with lots of different endings. The more you play, the more things make sense: http://www.newgrounds.com/portal/view/550497

One Chance is dark, and some may not like how there is no ‘replay’ button (you can find it on other sites, so all hope is not lost), but I enjoyed it: http://www.newgrounds.com/portal/view/555181
(note: extremely depressing)

I’ve played How To Raise a Dragon, and its very short.

Going back through my catalog of Extremely Old Things, I realized I forgot to mention King of Chicago. It’s halfway inbetween a choose-your-own adventure type thing peppered with arcade style action and each game is randomized with different scenarios.

Best part? Underdogs has permission from Cinemaware to post it, so I CAN post the link this time.

Remember, you’re going to need DOSBox to get this to work thanks to Microsoft abandoning one of the best products it’s ever created.

@MouaThug I have read Snow and no matter what you do the ending is still the same and it is very depressive.

@cool74 Haha there’s two ending but yes… Both sad… very depressing… the writer did a good job on the books atmosphere…

I need to check out some of these others, but I just spent a couple of days playing alter ego and it is very addicting!

is this link dead

Here’s all the other ones I know about.

Two sites dedicated to a ton of CYOAs and forums to post on.

http://www.infinite-story.com/

http://chooseyourstory.com/default.aspx

A site dedicated to sex CYOAs (Possibly NSFW, but there aren’t any pics, it’s just text)

http://www.chyoo.com/

A really weird and long CYOA with many different endings.

http://www.bradthegame.com/

An equally odd CYOA. (Possibly NSFW, but despite the name, it doesn’t have any lewd pics)

If you want stuff for your ipod/iphone/ipad and aren’t familiar with them already there’s a whole series of Gamebooks called “Gamebook Adventures” by Tin Man Games. They got 8 of them out so far and I think they’re done well overall.

http://gamebookadventures.com/

There’s also a series called Fabled Lands out for the ipod. If you’re not familiar with it, it was a game book series that originally came out in the 90s that allowed you to move back and forth through the various books. Basically it was the “Oblivion” or “Skyrim” in book form back in the day. They planned 12, but only ever made 6. Don’t think they ever came out in the US either. Anyway they’re trying to revive the series and actually do all of the books this time. So far they’ve remade 4 of the books in physical format and the first 2 for the ipod.

 thank you so much

Thanks for the infinite- story theres tons of IF there!

I recommend the alter ego one posted on the second comment.

Hey all, I just found a great new CYOS (choose your own story) website! It is called the Never Ending Tale and is user submitted, but there are also pro editors. You can even go and add a few pages yourself. This web is exciting and contains a wide variety of topics/themes; you’re sure to find something you love. The link is: http://www.coder.com/creations/tale/ Happy adventuring!

These comments sure go back, don’t they?
Anyone know if Alter Ego was made using the same basics as ChoiceScript? I want to know if it’s possible to do icons like that in CS, and make it go to another scene after a certain number of icons were clicked, etc. etc. etc.
