To the City of the Clouds: A Colombian Archaeological Adventure

SAN FRANCISCO--October 26th, 2012: Choice of Games today announced that "To the City of the Clouds," the latest in their popular line of multiple-choice interactive-fiction games, is now available on iOS and Android, as well as Windows, OS X, and Linux via the Chrome Webstore.

Search for the lost Incan city known as La Ciudad de las Nubes in the mountains of Colombia. Your fledgling archaeologist will battle venomous pit vipers, tropical diseases, and the FARC guerrilla army to secure fame, fortune, and tenure at a prestigious university. Alcohol, lustful young students, and Incan spirits delight and bedevil you along the way.

"To the City of the Clouds" is a thrilling interactive adventure novel where your choices determine how the story proceeds. The game is entirely text-based--without graphics or sound effects--but powered by the vast, unstoppable power of your imagination.

For example, at the gates of the ancient city, you meet four deadly FARC guards, including Nestor, the leader of their unit. You level your AK-47 at the ragged-looking group and they surrender immediately, holding up their hands and retreating into the mist. All except Nestor. He keeps moving towards you. He doesn't think you have the guts.

What do you choose?

A) He's right. I don't. I drop the AK-47 and bolt for the temple.
B) I fire a warning shot into the air.
C) I bluff, sighting my AK-47 on his head.
D) I am deadly serious. I sight my AK-47 between his eyes and dare him to come closer.

Choose your persona, your sexual orientation, and your propensity to wear khaki native huipiles...then let the adventure begin!
